On Sunday, June 3, 2007, I saw this red squirrel eating some pine cones on the ground at the Paul Lake Provincial Park. I didn't get too close to this squirrel or spend too much time around him because he seemed to be a little sickly. He was missing a big patch of fur on his back. This might have been due to fleas or he may have had a case of rabies. Either way, I didn't really want to find out.
