Grassland Park

On September 8, 2008, we saw this lake at the Grassland Park, Kamloops, BC. It is a beautiful lake. I love the trees across from the lake. It doesn't look like the pine beetle has gotten to this area, which is good. Pine beetle is very destructive.

Ice

On September 8, 2008, we took our dog, Ice, to the Grassland Park in Kamloops, BC. He found this stick so we played fetch with him. He's a good dog. He always brings his stick back to us and puts it at our feet.

South Thompson River

On August 11, 2008, while camping at the Steelhead Provincial Park in BC, we went for a walk to the South Thompson River. It was only about a 20 minute walk from the campsite. My dog, Ice, loved the water because it was such a hot day.

Steelhead Provincial Park

On August 10, 2008 I went camping at Steelhead Provincial Park, just outside of Cache Creek, BC. It was a really nice campground on Kamloops Lake. The temperature was in the 30 degrees Celsius range. It was really hot.

Bald Eagle

On August 5, 2008, I saw a bald eagle sitting in this old tree. Bald Eagles seem to love to sit in old trees. I think it is so they can see what is around them easier.

Ice

On July 14, 2008 we took our dog, Ice, to Paul Lake Provincial Park. There is a little lake just before the park entrance. We stopped there and Ice went for a swim. This is him as he came out of the water. He looks like a drowned rat.
