Mallard Ducks

On Sunday, April 22, 2007, I went for a drive to Tunkwa Lake Provincial Park in Logan Lake, BC. I saw a pair of mallard ducks. The more colourful one is the male. I think it is funny how male birds are always more colourful than the females. Look how drab the poor female mallard duck is. She is plain Jane. It is still fascinating to see them though and I also love the way they waddle when they walk.
